Pricing and Travel
All SnapThat videography packages are quoted per event based on your specific requirements. A 25% deposit secures your booking, with the balance due 7 days before your event. Travel within 30km of our Durban office is included. For locations further out, a travel fee of R6 per kilometre applies, with toll fees quoted separately. We shoot across the full KZN region and are available nationally.

Can we meet before the event?
Absolutely — and we prefer it. We arrange to meet every client before the shoot to get to know each other, understand your vision, and discuss what you need. The better we know your story, the better we can tell it on screen. A free 30-minute consultation is included for every booking.
How do I book and what are the payment terms?
Once you’re ready to go, we send a contract and require a 25% deposit to secure your booking. Final payment is due within 7 days before your event date. We’re flexible — just get in touch and we’ll sort it out.
How will I receive my video?
Your finished video is delivered on a branded SnapThat USB in full HD (MP4 format), ideal for smart TVs and large screens. We recommend bringing your own external hard drive for a backup — or we can source one at an additional charge.
How long does it take to receive my video?
We require approximately 3 weeks after your event to edit and deliver your final video. During peak season (November–December) this extends to 4–5 weeks. If we’re done sooner, you’ll be the first to know. Rush delivery is available on request.
Is the video recorded in HD?
Yes — all SnapThat filming and videography is produced in full HD. It looks spectacular on HD TVs and on large presentation screens at events.
Do you charge for travel outside Durban?
A minimum travel fee of R350 applies for locations outside our standard area, with toll fees as an additional charge. We cover the full KZN region and shoot nationally — travel costs are always confirmed upfront in your quote.
Can I request changes after receiving my video?
Yes. You have one week after delivery to review your video and submit any change requests. We’ll turn these around as quickly as possible. Certain changes may attract an additional fee depending on the scope of the edit.
